How to play Five Tribes

At the start of the game, randomly distribute the meeples on the board tiles. Each tile will receive three meeples. You must plan your moves to capture combinations that offer the best advantage.

On your turn, choose a tile with meeples and move them in sequence, leaving a meeple on each adjacent tile along the way. The last meeple must be placed on a tile containing a matching color. You will collect all the meeples of that color from the last tile.

Using blue meeples allows you to buy merchandise cards, which can be sold in collections for more points. Green meeples, or viziers, directly accumulate victory points.

When you capture yellow meeples, you get merchants who also give you points at the end of the game. Red meeples can be used to eliminate mercenaries and control important tiles.

During the game, use the camels to mark controlled tiles. Controlling a tile can give additional bonuses, so choose well where to place them.

Acquire Djinn cards when possible. They offer special abilities that can turn the game in your favor. Exploit their unique abilities to maximize your strategy.

Watch your opponents' actions carefully. Anticipate their moves and avoid creating favorable opportunities for them.

Plan each turn with the long term in mind. Adjust your strategy as the board changes, optimizing the collection of goods and the use of djinns and meeples.
