Sea Dragons
In Sea Dragons, you dive into a vibrant world full of marine adventures. The seas are under constant threat from daring pirates who venture into sacred waters. As members of a noble family of sea dragons, your mission is to defend the underwater kingdoms and establish your mark on these domains. Each player must use their strategy carefully when positioning their dragons on the board. The mechanics are simple: each turn, play one of your cards to make your dragon emerge in one of the four realms. The web of interaction between players intensifies, as you can choose to sink enemy ships or explore the seabed in search of hidden treasures. One tip that always works is to pay attention to where other players place their dragons. Sometimes a calculated move can ensure that you collect more treasure or prevent your opponent from gaining the upper hand. But beware: you can't group your dragons together! This adds a tactical touch to the game, as proximity to other players' dragons brings rewards in the form of treasures. The real challenge lies in balancing your presence in each realm while completing missions that can award precious victory points. At the end of the game, victory will not just be a matter of collecting treasures, but of mastering the seas with wisdom. GAME mechanics
- End of Game Bonus - In Sea Dragons, this mechanic is a crucial point for reversing situations. Players accumulate points throughout the match, but this sum can be turned upside down with the bonuses awarded at the end, depending on the actions taken throughout the game.
- Grid Cover - This is the mechanic that tests spatial planning skills. On the board, players place pieces to cover strategic spaces. Efficient grid coverage can open the way to important tactical and strategic advantages as the game progresses.
- Collecting Sets - Players collect sets of cards or tiles during the game. When they complete a set, they unlock abilities or rewards. This search for sets directly influences the strategies adopted, giving a touch of collection that appeals to methodical and cunning players.
- Building from a Model - In this mechanic, models serve as guides for building units or structures. Based on these models, players decide the best time and way to expand their possibilities on the board.
- Contracts - Imagine you're in a large water market. Using contracts is like making business deals within the game. Fulfilling contracts can bring you additional points and resources, tipping the scales in your favor at the right time.
- Influence / Majority in the Area - Dominating territories is essential. By controlling the majority in specific areas, players can influence the course of events in the game, either by securing more resources or by limiting the actions of their opponents.
- Variable Preparation - This mechanic ensures that each Sea Dragons match is unique. Before starting, players organize their resources and units in varying ways, creating new experiences and challenging them to adapt to new situations.
