How to play What's Your Meme?
Deal out 7 caption cards to each player. Place the pile of picture cards in the center of the table. Someone is chosen as the judge for the round.
The judge turns over the first image card in the pile and places it for everyone to see. Each player chooses a caption card from their hand that they think best matches the image revealed and hands it to the judge, face down.
The judge shuffles the caption cards received and reads them aloud, associating them with the image. The judge chooses the caption they think is the funniest, most creative or most appropriate. Whoever played the chosen caption wins the round and keeps the image card as a point.
Players draw new legend cards to replace the used ones. The role of judge passes clockwise to the next player. The game continues until one player reaches the agreed number of points.

Mechanics of What's Your Meme?
- Simultaneous Action Selection: In "What's Your Meme?", this mechanic involves all players choosing their caption cards at the same time, without revealing their choices to the others. Each player has a set of caption cards, and the task is to select the card that best complements or relates to the meme image presented in the round. The simultaneous choice creates an element of suspense and unpredictability, since the players don't know what the others will play, encouraging creativity and reading in the room.
- Hand Management: This mechanic refers to the process of each player efficiently managing their legend cards throughout the game. Players start with a set number of cards and must decide which card to use each round to maximize their chances of winning. After each round, new cards are drawn to replenish the hand, and players must continually evaluate their available options, considering both the mood of the room and the current image card. This mechanic challenges players to think strategically about which cards to play and which to keep for future rounds, considering the mood dynamics of the other players and the nature of the cards in hand.
