Monopoly: Pink Boutique Edition

Monopoly: Pink Boutique Edition is a stylized and vibrant version of the classic board game. In this game, players venture onto a charming board full of elegant stores and fashion boutiques, where buying and trading properties is the key to success. Participants roll the dice to move and, when they land on a property, they have the opportunity to buy it and develop their boutique with stunning accessories and fashion items. Players should keep an eye on property sets, as having a complete collection increases the amount of rent charged when opponents land on their boutiques. The fashion aspect brings a new dynamic to the game, encouraging creative and strategic negotiations. The ultimate goal remains the same: accumulate money and bankrupt your opponents while enjoying a pink world of luxury and style.

How to play Monopoly: Pink Boutique Edition

Choose a banker to manage the money, properties, cards and auctions during the game.

Each player chooses a piece and receives an initial amount of money: usually $1500 divided into different denominations.

Position yourself on the "GO" space and roll the dice to determine the order of the turns. The players move clockwise around the board.

When you land on a property without an owner, you can buy it for the amount indicated or let the banker auction it off if you don't want to buy it.

Pay rent whenever you land on another player's property. The amount of rent increases if the owner owns a set of properties in the same color group.

Houses and hotels can be built on complete complex properties, increasing the rental value.

Lucky" and "Community Box" cards must be bought when they land in the respective spaces, and must be dealt with immediately.

Falling into the "GO" slot means you get $200. If you pass through the "GO", you also receive $200.

"Prison" has special rules: enter by falling on the corresponding space, drawing a "Go to Prison", or drawing a card with this effect. Pay $50 or get a "Get Out of Jail Free" to get out.

If a player runs out of money to pay expenses, he can mortgage properties or sell houses before declaring bankruptcy.

The aim is to become the last player not to go bankrupt. The game ends when all the properties are owned and one player has accumulated a significant amount of wealth compared to the others.

Mechanics of Monopoly: Pink Boutique Edition

  • Collecting Sets - In Monopoly: Pink Boutique Edition, players must acquire and complete sets of properties of the same color. Completing a set allows you to build properties, increasing your ability to collect rent from your opponents.
  • Elimination of Players - A player is eliminated when he runs out of money and can't sell or mortgage property to pay off his debts. When he is eliminated, all his properties are returned to the bank and made available again in the game.
  • Auction / Bidding - When a player decides not to buy a property when they land on it, it is auctioned off among all the players. The highest bidder wins the property, which can be a strategic way of acquiring it for a lower price.
  • Negotiation - Players can trade properties with each other at any time during the game, allowing exchanges or combinations of money and properties to complete sets or gain strategic advantages.
  • Scroll / Rotate and Move - At the start of the turn, the player rolls the dice to move their pawn around the board. The final position determines the action to be taken, such as buying a property, paying rent, drawing a lucky or unlucky card, among others.
