GAME mechanics

  • Influence / Majority in the Area - This mechanic occurs when players seek to control different regions of the world map throughout the various historical eras represented in the game. Influence is determined by the presence of units in the specific area, and the player with the most units in a region at the end of an era earns victory points. This simulates the geopolitical and cultural dominance of civilizations at that time.
  • Hand Management - During the game, players receive cards representing historical events, strategic advantages or combat modifiers. Effective management of these cards is crucial, as each card can be played at strategic moments to maximize the effectiveness of armies or to change the course of battles. Decisions on when to keep or discard cards strongly influence the development of the match.
  • Data Scrolling - Combats and some events in the game are resolved by rolling dice. Success in battle depends both on the roll and on comparing the results with the opponent's strengths. This mechanic adds an element of luck and unpredictability, requiring players to plan for unexpected circumstances and adjust their strategies as necessary.
