GAME mechanics
- Collecting Sets - In this mechanic, players acquire properties inspired by the iconography and history of the Grateful Dead band. The aim is to get all the properties of the same color or theme to form clusters, allowing you to build recording studios or concert arenas, thus increasing the rental fee charged to other players.
- Auction / Bidding - When a player doesn't want to buy a property when they land on it, or if they don't have enough funds, the property goes up for auction. All players have the opportunity to bid for the property, and the player who offers the highest amount wins the right to buy it. This mechanic adds an element of strategy and competition to the game.
- Negotiation - Players can trade with each other, exchanging property, money and even special cards. Trading is essential to forming complete sets and can involve multiple parties and complex strategies as players try to gain the upper hand and complete their objectives.
- Scroll / Rotate and Move - Players roll two dice to determine how many spaces to move their token on the board. Depending on which space they land on, they can buy property, pay rent, draw special cards or go to prison. This mechanic is the main support for the game's progression, with luck playing a significant role in short and long-term strategy.
