Everbloom

Everbloom is a vibrant game that transports players to a world of color and biodiversity, where each game is a new opportunity to cultivate a lush habitat. Each player takes on the role of a pollinating faction - it could be bats, bees, butterflies, hummingbirds, lemurs or lizards - all united by a single purpose: to make their ecosystem flourish. Throughout the game, you embark on a strategic journey, sending pollinators to wild areas and landmarks. The aim is to attract hybrid beings that become part of your habitat, pollinating plants and collecting nectar. Every action you take affects the balance of the environment, encouraging friendly competition between players. As you progress, bloom and collect nectar cards, you'll see your habitat develop in unique ways. The game is a perfect combination of strategy and interaction, where knowledge of the different biomes and the elements of each faction are key to victory. In the end, points are counted based on the nectar collected and progress on the flowering trail. Only one player can be crowned the winner, but everyone will leave inspired by the wonders of nature. Get ready to live an incredible floral experience with Everbloom!

OBJECTIVE OF THE GAME

The main objective of the Everbloom game is to cultivate and expand a magical garden, where players plant enchanted flowers, collect resources and unlock new plant varieties to transform it into a vibrant oasis of beauty and color. In the midst of this enchanting environment, players also interact with the mystical creatures that inhabit the garden, helping to solve challenges or protect their creations from threats from the outside world. I remember one time I spent hours trying to grow a rare flower, only to realize that the key lay in collaborating with a strange but adorable virtual gnome, who appeared just as I was about to give up. It's this personal connection and the enchantment of the unexpected that Everbloom brings, making each game session a unique and captivating experience.

GAME mechanics

  • Collecting Sets - In Everbloom, players gather specific cards to complete sets, which provide victory points and special abilities. Each set requires a unique combination of cards, encouraging players to trade and negotiate to achieve their goals.
  • Influence / Majority in the Area - Each player tries to dominate regions on the board by positioning their pieces strategically. By having the most pieces in an area, the player obtains special bonuses, such as additional resources or unique abilities, influencing the course of the game.
  • Players with Different Skills - Players choose between characters with unique abilities that affect their style of play. These skills offer tactical advantages during matches, allowing for a personalized approach and strategy adapted to the opponent and the conditions of the match.
  • Auction / Bidding - During certain phases of the game, players must compete for items or advantages by offering resources in an auction. The player who makes the highest bid wins the item, adding an element of risk and reward to the game experience.
  • Variable Preparation - In each game of Everbloom, the board and the players' initial resources are arranged randomly, ensuring that no two games are the same. This variability encourages flexible strategies and keeps the game dynamic and interesting.
