Deadlands: Hell on Earth - Deadlands: Hell on Earth

In a bleak future, where hopes have been reduced to rubble, 2094 marks a new era of challenges and dangers. The Last War, which took place thirteen years ago, consumed billions and transformed the planet into an arid desert marked by strange manifestations. The Rockoners, supernatural beings of immense power, have appeared with devastating force in the West, eliminating the survivors and disappearing in unknown directions, leaving a trail of destruction and desolation. In Deadlands: Hell on Earth, you are invited to enter this dark world, where the fight for survival mixes with the need to become a hero. Players can choose from several iconic classes, such as Doomsayers with their apocalyptic visions, Law Dogs who seek justice, sykers who manipulate psychic forces, or even scavengers and templars who fight in the name of a greater cause. Each brings a unique perspective to the game, allowing for a rich and engaging dynamic. Explore ruined cities and face storms that still howl in the skies, while searching for resources and allies. Deadlands: Hell on Earth is not just a continuation of the epic saga that began in Deadlands: The Weird West; it's a new opportunity to write your story in the midst of chaos. However, the warning echoes: darkness is always lurking, and the Reckoners may be about to return. Get ready to face your fears and find out if you have what it takes to challenge Hell on Earth.

GAME mechanics

  • Storytelling - This mechanic is at the heart of Deadlands: Hell on Earth. The game master acts as the main narrator, creating and directing the plot as players interact with the post-apocalyptic world. He describes settings, characters and events, guiding players through an engaging story full of surprises. The master's narration skills can make a big difference to the overall experience of the game, adding depth and emotion.
  • Paper and pen - Essential tools for recording character progress and noting down important elements of the game. Players use pen and paper to keep up-to-date character sheets, record inventories and note down crucial plot information. This analog way of keeping track of the game encourages the physics of the classic RPG and helps maintain the flow of the game without relying on digital tools.
  • Data Scrolling - Deadlands: Hell on Earth uses a system of dice, often six-sided (d6) and 20-sided (d20), to determine the results of the characters' actions. In this mechanic, the randomness of the dice adds a layer of unpredictability, making every decision tense and full of possibilities. The characters' abilities, attacks and actions are resolved with dice, offering a balanced mix of chance and strategy.
  • RPG - The essence of Deadlands: Hell on Earth is role-playing, where players take control of characters in a world devastated by supernatural catastrophes.
