Airport Rush

Airport Rush is an exciting game for 2 to 4 players that puts you in the shoes of an airport manager determined to maximize take-off efficiency. During your turn, you can buy dice that represent the load needed to meet the planes' requirements. Every decision counts, as you can only take off one plane at a time, requiring careful planning to optimize your objectives. Players can play airplane cards and action cards. Airplane cards increase your chances of scoring points by allowing you to take off more planes. On the other hand, action cards offer strategic actions that can speed up the operation of your airport. Unexpected events, such as bad weather and delays, can arise at any time, affecting all players and bringing new challenges. The game ends when one of the players completes the take-off of 7 planes, followed by a final round for everyone to add up their points, also taking into account the objective cards. The player with the highest score is declared the winner. In Airport Rush, you'll need to stand out in the rush, using dice to meet the demands of the planes and playing action cards at the right time. Get ready for the intense competition and find out if you have what it takes to manage an airport under pressure!

GAME mechanics

  • Collecting Sets: The mechanics of collecting sets in Airport Rush involve collecting different cards or items that represent parts or elements of the airport, such as terminals, runways or vehicles. By completing a specific set, the player unlocks bonuses or special abilities that can be used to improve airport management efficiency or gain advantages over other players.
  • Push your luck: In this mechanic, the player can choose to take calculated risks in order to obtain greater rewards. During the turn, there is the opportunity to make choices that can result in immediate gain or additional challenges. This mechanic encourages the player to balance between safe and risky moves, such as deciding whether to accept a guaranteed amount of passengers or try to accommodate more, at the risk of overloading the airport.
  • Rolling dice: Rolling the dice in Airport Rush determines random actions that affect the status of the airport and the players' strategies. Each face of the dice represents different events, such as flight delays, adverse weather, or the arrival of VIPs. Players must adapt their strategies and operations according to the results of the dice, planning for contingencies and responding quickly to new situations as they arise.
