Santorini: New York puts players in the shoes of ambitious builders in a vibrant recreation of New York City during the early 20th century. In this strategic game for 2 to 5 players, you control two workers who move around Manhattan, erecting buildings and competing to be the first to stand out in the urban skyline. Each turn, you'll carry out a move and a construction, while tactics and astute decisions shape the course of the game. The Role Cards add a layer of strategy, allowing you to influence your turn in unexpected ways. With five Role Cards in hand, you'll choose one to play each round, with the order of initiative depending on the value printed on the cards. Your aim is to be the first to build up to the third floor, but don't forget that conquering the Statue of Liberty is crucial to securing victory. The simultaneous revelation of the Paper Cards creates an exciting dynamic, where players fight to be the first to act, while the player with the highest number becomes the Statue's spokesperson, intensifying the competition in an 'all against 1' format each round. With 14 sets of Role Cards available, each match promises a unique experience, as only 4 cards are used per game. In addition, the set includes 6 customized sculptures of iconic skyscrapers that marked the architecture of the turn of the century, adding a special touch to your table. The main objective of the game Santorini: New York is to be the first player to place their character on top of a complete building, which consists of three floors and a roof. During the game, participants represent iconic New York construction workers, moving their characters and building structures around the city, using their characters' unique powers to outwit opponents and strategically block their advances, in a race to conquer the top of the buildings before their rivals.
