Animagicians

**Animagicians is an engaging card game that mixes strategy and bluffing, where players take on the role of powerful Dark Seekers, who have the ability to capture the souls of creatures in crystal fragments. The aim is to gather power and become the most powerful Dark Seeker in the universe. On this thrilling journey, players will explore the dreaded Mansion on Forgotten Hill, where a feared Lich hides his secrets. Along the way, players will be able to captivate souls, steal relics and confront friends in epic battles. At the start of the game, each player receives 5 Magic Cards. Monsters appear in front of each player, but the peculiarity is that they don't directly attack whoever is in front of them - instead, they chase the player who is aligned with them! Thus, it is necessary for players to strategically choose which monsters to defeat, placing spells face down to avoid the attack. The tension builds as everyone tries to guess everyone else's choices. During the match, players can find powerful Relics that increase their power. In addition, Special Cards allow you to make significant changes to the game, whether by adding or removing monsters, altering their characteristics or summoning new spells. The match ends when a player manages to defeat the Lich using a Special Relic, which must be stolen from the Lich himself, or when someone accumulates 10 souls. In the event of a tie, the player whose turn is closest to the Beginner Player Token is declared the winner. **Animagicians offers three different game modes to suit all player profiles: - The all-against-all mode, where each player tries to capture souls before the others. - Solo mode, in which the player tries to imprison the Lich's soul with the help of captured souls. - The cooperative mode, a challenge for two players, who must complete missions in the mansion to defeat the Lich. With ten unique Character Cards, each with its own narrative and special abilities, each match becomes a new experience. Get ready for a fight of wits and courage - do you have the guts to take on the Lich?

    Mechanics of Animagicians

    • Push your luck: This mechanic allows players to make risky decisions in order to obtain potentially greater rewards. During the game, players can choose to carry out actions that have an element of risk, such as drawing additional cards or facing more difficult challenges. The success of these actions is uncertain, and failure can result in negative consequences, such as loss of points or resources. The element of randomness is an essential part of this, encouraging players to carefully assess when it is appropriate to take risks.
    • Hand Management: In Animagicians, hand management involves the strategic choice and efficient use of the cards available to the player. Each player has a hand of cards that can include spells, equipment, or special abilities. Deciding which cards to play, discard or keep for future turns is crucial to maximizing the chances of success in planned actions. This mechanic encourages long-term strategizing and adapting to developments each round.
    • Players with Different Skills: The characters in Animagicians are varied and have unique abilities that influence the game strategy. Each player chooses or receives a character with specific advantages or powers, such as control over certain magical elements, bonuses for certain actions or greater resistance to penalties. This element adds a layer of customization and diversity to the game, forcing players to adapt their tactics based on their character's unique abilities and the challenges presented by their opponents.
    • Take that: This mechanic allows direct interaction between players, where actions taken by one can directly harm another. Players have the ability to perform spells or use cards that negatively affect their opponents' resources, cards or positions. This creates a competitive and hostile dynamic, where players must not only focus on their strategies, but also defend themselves against others' offensives. Knowing when and how to apply these actions is key to turning the game in your favor and gaining an advantage over your opponents.
