How to play Uno Moo

Each player starts with five farm figures, chosen at random and stored in their personal barn. The aim is to be the first to get rid of all the figures.

On your turn, you must try to match a figure in the middle barn with one in your own barn, either by color or by the type of animal. Place the matching figure in the middle barn, replacing the one that was there.

If you can't make a match, pull a figure from the middle pile. If that figure can be played, put it in the middle barn. If not, add it to your barn and pass the turn.

There is a special figure, the black cow, which acts as a wild card and can be played at any time. Whoever plays it chooses the color for the next round.

The game ends when a player gets rid of all their figures. Remember to shout "Uno Moo!" when you're about to keep a single figure.

Main objective

The main objective of the Uno Moo game is to be the first player to run out of pieces in the barn by matching colors or types of animals each turn.

Mechanics of Uno Moo

  • Pattern Recognition: In Uno Moo, players have to identify and match colored tiles and animals. Each piece has a color and a type of animal, such as cows, chickens or sheep. The goal is to find pieces in the stable that match the color or animal of the card in the discard pile. This mechanic is essential for determining which pieces can be played each turn. Players must pay attention to color patterns and animal types to plan their moves and minimize the number of pieces left in their possession.
  • Hand Management: In Uno Moo, players' "hands" are made up of the pieces they have selected from inside the stable, where all the pieces are initially hidden. Management involves deciding which pieces to play in order to maximize the possibilities of future moves and minimize the number of remaining pieces. Knowing which pieces to keep and which to play can give strategic advantages, especially when cheating your opponent to pull more pieces from the stable. To win, the player needs to be the first to get rid of all their pieces, making effective management crucial to victory.
